Anyway after all the traumas we found a room at a decent hotel and spent the night in their suite as it was the only one available!! So with a river view and living room we spent the night in watching tv and ordering room service! Our friend has been to the doctor this morning so she should be ok too.
The last 10 days have really put everything Alex is scared of to the test and although there have been a few tears and threats to fly back to her Dad's in Bangkok, I think after a few days here she will be ready to continue on the rest of the trip!!
